Death

You Die!

There are a lot of truths about death, and a lot of garbage that players like to spread about it. Here is exactly what happens when you die.

All of your primary stats are reduced by one point. For certain classes, class skills may also be reduced by 1. You also loose a large sum of experience and 1 life. All players start with 10 lives and there are magical means to strengthen this life energy. When you run out of lives, you are doomed to wander as a ghost unless a player cleric assists you.

If are a ghost, you can be raised or resurrected and be brought back to life. When cast by a skilled player cleric, these spells lessen the effect of death upon you. Resurrection means you only loose one off most of your stats, not all of them. You also do not loose a life. Be warned that the resurrect spell will move you to where the Cleric casting the spell is located.

If there are no players available with such spells, the guildmaster of the Clerics guild in the Harborside chapel will bring you back to life. However, this sort of raise does not have the benefits to stats and lives that a player's would. Furthermore, if you are out of lives, you must wait for a player to assist you.
